Our company is seeking a qualified Middle Java Developer who knows how to create user information solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to accomplish this goal by the development, implementation and maintenance of components and interfaces that are Java-based. Additionally, the candidate should now how to define site objectives by envisioning the functionality features of each potential system and to analyze all user requirements. Knowledge of user interfaces to intranet/internet applications and how to design and develop them is necessary. The candidate should be able to figure out design methodologies and sets o tools, as well as design and conduct tests. He or she should be able to compare the disadvantages and advantages of purchase alternatives and custom development and to recommend system solutions. A good Middle Java Developer should be able to integrate applications by designing server scripting and database architecture and by establishing connectivity with search engines, network systems and information servers. The candidate should have the knowledge to create multimedia applications through the use of authoring tools and to complete their development by coordinating activities, schedules and requirements. He or she will be expected to troubleshoot production and development problems and to contribute to all team meetings in a constructive way. He or she needs to have the skills to develop documentation that supports users and to develop assistance tools. This job requires the skills to research net technologies and software products, read and understand professional publications, to participate in educational opportunities.
- 4+ years experience in Java/J2EE programming.
- Ability to work independently, and in small teams.
- Software development in Java programming language.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- XML - Xerces, DTD, DOM.
- Eclipse IDE.
- Experience in working with distributed team
- Familiarity with SVN for source control.
- Unix, AIX, Jboss, RDBMS.
- Experience in working with scalable high performance systems.
